Frontier® Organic Whole Elderberries are dried berries with a fruity aroma and sweet-tart, fruity flavor. They make tasty, warming winter cordials, teas, syrups and wines. The berries are dark purple and have a wrinkled appearance. Frontier organic elderberries are kosher certified and non-irradiated.
Used to make teas, tinctures/elixers, syrups and wines. Often combined with echinachea.
To make tea, cover one teaspoon of elder berries with one cup of water in a pan. Slowly bring to a boil, then simmer for 5 to 10 minutes.

The dried berries or juice are used to treat influenza, infections, sciatica, headaches, dental pain, heart pain and nerve pain, as well as a laxative and diuretic.
