Five Spice Chai Tea Latte

 A warmly spiced chai tea latte, featuring organic five spice powder, cardamom and cinnamon.


1/2 teaspoon Simply Organic Five Spice Powder

1/8 teaspoon Simply Organic Cardamom

1/8 teaspoon Simply Organic Cinnamon

1 cup water

2 teaspoons loose leaf black tea

1 cup milk or almond milk

1 tablespoon sugar

Softly whipped cream (optional)


1. In a pot over medium-high heat, bring water, loose leaf tea, five spice powder, cardamom and cinnamon to a gentle simmer. Add milk and heat through.

2. Remove pot from heat and let steep for 5 minutes. Then pour liquid thorough a fine mesh strainer.

3. Add sugar and top with softly whipped cream and a sprinkle of five spice, if desired.
