I’ve been cooking with herbs since I could cook and I’ve always preferred using herbs over using salt or seasonings laden with MSG and preservatives. Herbs help add an earthiness flavor to dishes while still keeping them healthy.
After detoxing off of coffee years ago, I promised myself I would never go back to it. I’ve kept that promise! Organic herbal tea is a healthier alternative. Besides, you can’t go wrong relaxing on a cold fall or winter day with a cup of peppermint tea or distressing from a long day at work with a cup of chamomile tea. Not to mention the aroma therapy is a plus!
My fondness for using herbs for cooking and health purposes led me to making tinctures. I’ve been making herbal tinctures for over 10 years. With a background in science, medicine and holistic herbalism, my desire to ensure my sons received natural healthy alternative “medicines” moved me to start making tinctures. Cold medicines, headache medicines and even stomach relief, shouldn’t require chemicals that threaten your health.
Health, with a major emphasis on earth friendly products is my main goal, so I only supply all natural, sustainable and/or organic products.
